Austin Convocational Steering Committee
October 16, 2005

 Attendees: Jerry Lyle, Diane Greer, Dyke Miller, Steve & Peggy Ryder, Wanda Stimson.

Steve opened the meeting with a prayer.

Diane presented Treasurer's Report (see attached). Balance on hand is $879.16.
  • There were no KAIROS requests this year.
  • Diane has purchased Reunion Cards.

    Diane presented her report from the Secretariat (full details to be posted later).
  • Bishop High will be sending out letter requesting Donations for Cursillo.
  • Full Cursillo will now be 30 (vs. 42) with Camp Allen guarantee of 25.
  • We still have 28 openings for November Weekend.
  • Dec 3 will be a Day of Deeper Understanding
  • June Cursillo will be cancelled (or possibly moved) due to confict in date with Bishop's Gathering!

    Steve moved (with Dyke Miller 2nd) that 2005 Budget be adopted as 2006 Budget.
    Discussion followed with two friendly amendments:
  • Cursillo Team be budgeted at $0, and Ultreya Income be reduced to $650.
  • "Postage" be changed to be "Postage and Library"
    Budget passed as amended.

    Jerry pointed out that his term expires in January, and asked for nominations. Steve Ryder suggested that Randall Hollahan would be a good candidate. Jerry said he had talked with Randall and he was willing.

    Wanda Stimson moved (Dyke Miller 2nd) that Randall be elected by acclamation!
