The applications (usually for two weekends) are sent to the parishes quarterly, approximately three months in advance of the first weekend. There is not a deadline date for applying, however the weekends fill in four (4) to six (6) weeks time, so send your applications soon.

Participants will be placed on a "first come basis".   In the event the weekend is not filled, the opportunity for more than four applicants per parish is possible.   When the weekend is filled the applications received too late will be placed on a waiting list.

VERY IMPORTANT NEW INFORMATION

There isn't a deadline date to apply.   In order to accommodate your parishioner, please send your applications soon, because enough applications are received to fill the weekend in about 4-6 weeks after the applications are mailed to the parish.

REMINDERS

The participants for a Cursillo weekend should be Episcopalian, reasonably stable and mature, free from recent distress and with a desire for God's love, and a longing to be set of fire with a zeal to do His work in the church and in the world.

The sponsors of the participants should be leading active Christian lives and be witnesses to their love for Christ.   They are responsible for encouraging membership in a permanent Group Reunion and Ultreya.
