The Austin Cursillo community has met there after the Clausuras since November 1996. They find the restaurant to be of high quality, with an efficient, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. This location makes it easy for those in Austin that can't make it to the closing to join us for dinner.

Directions:
From Brenham head west on 290 to Elgin. The Cattle Company (NEW red and white sign) is on the right seven tenths of a mile past the railroad underpass entering Elgin (you will pass a McDonald's and a Diamond Shamrock on the left).

From Austin, the Cattle Company is eighteen miles from the intersection of 183 and 290. Driving at the speed limit should get you there in eighteen minutes. Those coming from Brenham will probably arrive in Elgin about 8:00 PM. Note new time!

We ask that sponsor's include stopping for dinner in Elgin in the plans they make with their candidates. This meal has always been a special blessing for the new Cursillistas, and immediately reinforces the sense of Austin Cursillo community. It is an opportunity to encourage the candidates personally, help them find reunion groups while the fire is still hot, and reinforce the importance of the Ultreya the next Sunday.
